» How can I be sure I am pregnant?
Our Centers offer anonymous pregnancy testing. Many of our centers can also
provide immediate ultra-sound imaging. Call us for further information.
A late or missed period is the first indication that you
may be pregnant. To confirm that you are pregnant, a blood test or examination should be performed by a medical professional.
» Who can I talk to about my pregnancy?
It is always best if you can talk about your pregnancy with your partner
or your family. However this is often difficult with an unplanned pregnancy. We offer free, live continual counseling 24 hours a day, every
day of the year. Call 1-800-848-LOVE (5683).
» How can I get financial help?
Your financial situation can be a big worry. The National Life Center can help direct you to the programs and people that can work with you
to get public assistance.
» Where can I find housing if necessary?
The National Life Center can put you
in touch with centers in your area who will have resource information on housing. Call 1-800-848-LOVE (5683).
» Can I keep my baby?
Absolutely! But you may need help. We offer support to help you find housing or
get educational and occupation guidance so that you can plan a future for you and your baby. We also offer adoption referral if that is
your choice.
» Pregnancy after 40, what are the risks?
While there are some increased risks for women
to become pregnant after 40, the outlook for a healthy pregnancy and
baby are good. At age 40, 99.1% of babies born DO NOT have Downs
Syndrome.
» How can I talk to my family about my pregnancy?
It is important to talk to your partner and
your family about your pregnancy. This can be very difficult. Our people can help pr ovide you with the support you need to encourage
dialogue with the individuals you lov e most.

Education
and a job can provide a future for you and your baby.
The National Life Center can help you get the counseling and guidance you need to
